Interactive noise maps | Sustainability | Aena

Aena, using Interactive Noise Maps (WebTrak system), hopes to provide people living near airports with reliable and transparent information on aeronautical operations and the acoustic levels they generate. This information includes flight numbers, type of aircraft, altitude and the flight path used by the aircraft.

The system lets users observe the flight path of planes taking off from or landing at airports. For security reasons, the information on flight paths is shown with a 30 minute delay.

At present Aena has installed this system at Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas, Alicante-Elche, Bilbao, César Manrique-Lanzarote, Gran Canaria, Ibiza, Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat, Málaga-Costa del Sol, Palma de Mallorca, Tenerife Norte-Ciudad de La Laguna, Sevilla, Tenerife Sur and Valencia Airports. Aena plans to gradually incorporate the WebTrak system in the remaining major airports.
