Located eight kilometres from the city, in the Foronda district, Vitoria Airport stands out for its large volume of cargo traffic.

It was Spain’s fourth largest airport in cargo volume in 2019, after Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas, Zaragoza and Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat.
