Weapons Inspection

Passengers departing from Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport can carry out the formalities for travelling with weapons electronically, without having to be seen at the inspection office, using the Civil Guard online services portal.

Once the relevant formality has been completed and before checking in your luggage, you must attend the offices of the Civil Guard, sufficiently far in advance, so that the weapons and their authorisations can be checked, after which you must check them in with the airline.

Terminal T1:
- From 7.30 a.m. to 8.30 p.m. (Monday to Friday)
- From 7.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. (Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays)

Terminal T2:
- From 7.30 a.m. to 10.00 p.m. (Monday to Sunday)

Outside those hours, the in-person formalities must be carried out at the Citizen Services Office (Oficina de Atención al Ciudadano: OAC) in T1 (open 24 hours).
