Cycle lane and cycle parking

The bike lane in the airport grounds runs around the main facilities (Terminal T2, the loading zone and Terminal T2) and connects to the Viladecans and El Prat de Llobregat bike lanes. There are various bicycle parking areas and 3 Bicibox modules, a free service for parking bikes in the Barcelona Metropolitan Area (BMA) which can be used by registering on the Bicibox web site: https://www.bicibox.cat/

Terrace

Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport has three open-air terraces. Located in both terminals, these terraces offer passengers an open area while waiting for their plane to depart.

Terminal T1 has two terraces with catering establishments and a smoking area. The terrace in Terminal T2 has a smoking area and an area for pets, with a water fountain for the animals and a bin for their waste.

Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport has three delimited spaces, open-air area; with a lawn, so that passengers can rest with their pets while waiting for their plane to depart. It has a water fountain, a bin for animal waste and a bollard where pets can be tied up.

The pet areas are in Terminal T1 and Terminal T2.

Comfort area

Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport has two comfort areas at the front of boarding gates B in Terminal T1. Passengers can rest before their flight in a comfortable space with comfy designer furniture that makes a break with traditional seating areas. With a layout that promotes comfort through a simple and friendly aesthetic, the space includes badminton model armchairs that reduce ambient noise.

It also has numerous ordinary and USB power outlets for charging electronic devices.
