DEPARTURES AREA

Check-in

Check-in desks are located on the ground floor of the terminal.

Please arrive at the airport well in advance to avoid any unforeseen circumstances. For flights to the Schengen area, we recommend that you arrive one and a half hours before your scheduled departure time.

With mobile online check-in, you can check in and receive your boarding pass on your mobile device via email, SMS or mobile applications. If you don't need to check in, you can go directly to the security checkpoint.

Most airlines allow you to check in online through their websites before you go to the airport. You will get your boarding pass and you can go directly through the security checkpoints if you are only carrying hand luggage.

Remember to print out all your travel documents (e-ticket, boarding pass, etc.). Please note that some airlines apply a surcharge for reissuing your boarding pass at the airport.

It is advisable to arrive at the airport in good time to avoid unforeseen circumstances. The general rule is:

  1. Non-Schengen flights: 3 hours before scheduled departure.
  2. Schengen and domestic flights: 2 hours before scheduled departure.

Security check

All passengers must pass through the security checkpoint to access the boarding area by passing through a metal detector arch and passing their hand luggage and other items they are carrying (coats, jackets, mobile phones, keys) through an X-ray machine.

Before passing through the security checkpoint, passengers will be asked for their boarding pass.

To facilitate the passage of objects through the scanner, especially in the case of small items, the special trays available to users should be used.

DEPARTURES AREA

Passport control

If your flight destination is a non-Schengen country, you will have to go through a document check.

The basic travel document is your passport, although you can travel to some countries with your ID card. Some countries also require a visa, vaccination certificate, passport valid for up to 6 months after the date of arrival, etc. Check with your airline.

DEPARTURES AREA

Boarding

Boarding for domestic and international flights takes place on the top floor of the building (8 gates), while inter-island flights board on the ground floor (9 gates).

Once you have passed through the security checkpoint, look for your boarding gate on the airport screens. There you will have to show the airline staff the corresponding documentation to verify your identity. Also check with your airline for valid documentation to present to their staff.
