Reus Airport offers free tours of its facilities in order to learn about (principally for the academic world) the airport surroundings and the different processes that take place there.
Reus Airport offers guided tours to introduce primary and secondary school students to the world of aviation and familiarise them with air transport. The tours take place during the school year.
During the 90 minutes of the tour, students visit the Real Aeroclub de Reus Costa Daurada to see the light aircraft up close, and visit the departures terminal of the airport where they follow the route of a passenger preparing to fly. They also visit the falconry service, where the functions of the falcons and their relevance to air safety are explained. Another stop is the fire department, on the aircraft apron, where they see a demonstration of fire fighting.
