How to avoid the risk of contracting MPOX?

Avoid physical contact, including sexual contact, with people who have symptoms or have been diagnosed with MPOX.

Most frequent symptoms

Erupción cutánea

Skin eruption on any part of the body (mouth, anus, genitals, face, etc.).

Fiebre

Fever, headache, muscle pain or fatigue.

Inflamación de ganglios linfáticos

Inflammation of the lymph nodes.

If during travel, or within 21 days of your return, you suspect or have symptoms compatible with MPOX:

Evita contacto con personas y animales

Avoid close physical contact with people (including sexual relations) and animals.

Usa mascarilla

If you have respiratory symptoms, wear a mask.

Contact a doctor as soon as possible and, if it is on your return, call 112.
