DEPARTURES AREA

Check-in desks

The check-in desks are on the ground floor of the terminal.

Please arrive at the airport with enough time to allow for unforeseen delays. For flights to destinations in the Schengen area, we recommend arriving an hour and a half before the scheduled time of departure. The passenger terminal opens its door in the winter season at 06:00 and closes at 00:00 from Monday to Sunday; in summer it closes at 02:00.

Most airlines allow passengers to check in online on their website prior to travelling to the airport. You will receive your boarding pass when checking in, allowing you to proceed directly to the security checkpoints if you are travelling with carry-on luggage only.

Remember to print off all your travel documents (e-ticket, boarding pass, etc.). Please note that some airlines charge a fee to reissue boarding passes at the airport.

With mobile online check-in, you can check in and receive your boarding pass on your mobile device via email, SMS or mobile apps. If you do not have to check in you can go straight to the security checkpoint.

DEPARTURES AREA

Security checks

All passengers accessing the boarding area must go through the security checkpoint. This entails passing beneath a metal-detector arch and having their hand luggage and any other objects they are carrying (coats, jackets, mobile telephones, keys) scanned.Permitted liquids and electronic devices without covers must be separated from the rest of the hand luggage. In order to facilitate the scanning of these objects, and small items in particular, passengers are advised to use the special trays at their disposal.

Passengers will be asked for their boarding pass before they go through the security checkpoint.

The airport has special access for people with reduced mobility and passengers with prams and pushchairs.

DEPARTURES AREA

Passport Control

If the destination of your flight is a non-Schengen country, you must go through document control.

The basic travel document is a passport, although you can travel to some countries with a National ID card (DNI). Some countries also require a visa, vaccination certificate, passport valid for six months after the date of arrival, etc. Check with your airline.

DEPARTURES AREA

Boarding

After going through the security checkpoint, look for your boarding gate on the airport screens. While you wait, there is a cafeteria and a duty free shop. All the boarding gates are located on the ground floor.

At the boarding gate, you must show the airline personnel documentation to prove your identity. Please ask your airline about valid documentation to present to their personnel.
