El Hierro Airport organises visits to its facilities, with guided tours that give the public a close-up view of everyday activities in an airport terminal.

The group is guided through the airport’s various areas during its visit, so it can understand the processes a passenger goes through, from arrival at the airport to boarding the plane: check-in, security and boarding, explained at every step by the airport’s staff.

Visitors also receive information on Aena's environmental commitments, which are aimed at making air transport as safe, effective and sustainable as possible.
