Cultural tours

Vigo Airport offers the Conoce tu aeropuerto (Get to know your Airport) programme, which introduces primary and secondary school students from Vigo and its district to the airport's activities, both at the strategic points in a passenger's route and in areas which are less well-known to users, such as the animal control and fire fighting services.

Visits are held every Friday during the school year. On the two-hour tour students can see the work of the different groups working in the airport who ensure that the airport is operational and safe, and can learn the strategic value of an airport to the local economy and society in its area of impact.

Schools interested in visiting the airport can contact the airport secretary's office to arrange a visit as part of the Conoce tu aeropuerto programme.
