Salamanca Airport presentation

Salamanca Airport is located on the Matacán airbase, open to civilian air traffic. It is situated fifteen kilometres to the east of the city, falling within the municipal districts of Machacon, Calvarrasa de Abajo and Villagonzalo de Tormes.

Opened in October 2005, the passenger terminal building is spread over two floors. The ground floor has a departures area, a check-in area and a boarding area, as well as an arrivals area with two baggage reclaim carousels. The first floor houses the technical block, with the operations office, as well as the management and administration offices.
