Cultural tours

Valencia Airport is open to receiving visits from abroad, these mainly being aimed at schoolchildren who, throughout their school year, frequently travel to the airport's facilities to find out more about them and understand their function and the service they provide.

Free tours follow an itinerary, which schools are given information on in advance, for finding out about the terminal’s public areas.

Guided tours with airport staff are also possible once a week, specifically on Wednesdays. In such cases, the Airport Services Centre’s staff accompany students through every area, public and restricted alike (baggage reclaim hall, boarding lounge, etc.,) explaining how the various services work.

All students receive a small souvenir gift at the end of their tour .

The process to be followed for school tours is as follows: a school contacts the Department’s Secretary’s Office calling 961 598 509 to specify the date it is interested in carrying out the tour.

Schools will not be charged for the visits, whether they be unaccompanied or guided.

For any queries, other inquiries or further information, please email the airport's passenger care.
