Request for analysis of civilian activities in the airspace
Under current aviation safety regulations, certain activities within the proximity of airports must be coordinated in advance to ensure that they do not pose a risk for aircraft in flight.

Type of activity: RPA (drones), model aircraft, fireworks, rockets, lanterns, balloons, weather balloons, captive balloons, pigeon racing, sports activities (paragliding, kitesurfing), smoke production, etc.
Period: at least 20 working days prior to the date of the requested activity.

- For the coordination of civilian aerial activities with remote piloted aircraft (RPA) within (wholly or partially) the distances defined in Section 24 1) of Spanish Royal Decree 1036/2017, use the form entitled ‘Request for Analysis of Civilian Aerial Activity regarding Remote Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS)’, which can be downloaded below.
- To request analysis of the impact of other civilian activities within the easement areas surrounding the aerodrome, use the form entitled ‘Request for Analysis of Civilian Aerial Activity regarding Other Uses of the Airspace (except RPAS)’, which can be downloaded below.
To enable Aena SME, S.A. to process coordination with RPAS, the operator must be previously authorised by the competent authority. For more information, consult the AESA website.
To coordinate activities with RPAS beyond the distances described in Section 24 1) of Spanish Royal Decree 1036/2017 and within controlled airspace (Asturias CTR) or to request analysis of the impact of other civilian activities beyond the easement areas of the aerodrome and within the operation areas, contact ENAIRE: cop@enaire.es.
If the request was not made within the deadline and no response is received from Aena SME, S.A. 48 hours beforehand, the request should be understood as rejected.
