All operations have been moved to T4

As from 1 April the Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas airport will move all operations to Terminal T4.

  • Check in. Aeromexico will check in at counters 880-886, Air China at counters 852-859, Air Europa at counters 878-879, Air France at counters 875-877, Iberia e Iberia Express at counters 810-819, Lufthansa and Swiss at counters 900-904, Qatar Airways at counters 852-859.
  • Arrivals. Baggage reclaim hall 10.
  • Catering. At Terminal T4 Paul and Enrique Tomás (both at the boarding area) remain open, as well as the vending machines.
  • Shops.The following remain open: at T4 the pharmacy, Enrique Tomás shop at check-in and 3 WHSmith shops (one at check-in and two at the boarding area). Additionally are also open: pharmacies of T1 (arrivals) and T2 (check-in) and the tobbaconist's located outside T1 arrivals.
  • Car park. Module D, E and F of P4 remain open.

The Madrid-Barajas Adolfo Suárez airport has the greatest volume of passenger traffic in the Aena network and the fourth highest in the EU. In this ranking, Barcelona-El Prat airport comes in at fifth. A further five Spanish airports register traffic of over 10 million passenger: Palma de Mallorca, Málaga-Costa del Sol, Alicante-Elche, Gran Canaria and Tenerife Sur.
