The arrivals area is on the ground floor of the terminal (floor 1).
When you disembark from the plane, please follow the signs to Passport Control (if necessary) and to the baggage reclaim hall and Customs.
After disembarking, if your flight was from a country outside the Schengen area, you must go through Passport Control. You can find more information on the requirements for entry to Spain online at Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation New Window.
After leaving the plane, please follow the signs to the baggage reclaim hall. In this hall, if you checked in luggage at the airport you left from, look at the screens to see which baggage reclaim carousel has been assigned to your flight. The airport has two baggage reclaim halls, one for EU flights and another for non-EU flights.
If luggage is lost or damaged, please go to the desk of your airline or handling agent.
The Airport Customs is located at the non-EU arrivals area (floor 0). Telephone: 944 710 601
If coming from a country outside the European Union, you must decide whether you are carrying goods which need to be declared, and go through airport Customs. Some examples of products which must be declared are food, high-value electronics, cash over 10,000 euros, etc. If in doubt, the best option is to ask at Customs.
If you would like to eat or drink something, the airport offers a cafeteria in the arrivals hall. If you need to do any shopping, go to the check-in lobby on the top floor.
If you need to withdraw cash, there are cash machines: one on the arrivals floor and three on the departures floor.
