These educational visits are free and do not incur any costs for the school.

Once the visit has been approved, if the centre cancels it, a one-year penalty will be imposed, during which time it will not be able to apply for further visits to the airport.

Each school may apply for a maximum of four groups. A separate form will need to be filled out for each group. For example, to visit with Year 1A and Year 1B groups, you must submit a separate application for each group.

Once the application has been received, the school will be notified of the allocated visit date, together with instructions for completing the documentation required by the airport Security Department. The visit will be officially processed once the relevant documentation has been filled in and submitted to the airport.

University visits should be requested by email to visitasALC@aena.es, stating the academic area of study and the airport facilities you are interested in.

UECO classrooms can request a visit tailored to their specific needs. For further information, please contact visitasALC@aena.es.

Failure to meet any of the established requirements or criteria may result in the application being rejected.

Visit cancellation policy: in case of cancellation of the visit once it has been approved, the centre will have a penalty of one year without being able to carry out visits.

Itinerary Tuesday – Primary and pre-school (only final year, 5 years)

Children's aeronautical video story Multipurpose Room – Check-in – Departures – Finger – Arrivals – Baggage reclaim – Gifts. The approximate timetable for the visit is from 09:30 to 13:00.

Itinerary Tuesday – Secondary

General airport presentation – Check-in – Departures – ABHS (Automated Baggage Handling System) – Photo in Terminal and gifts. The approximate timetable for the visit is from 09:30 to 13:00.

Itinerary Wednesday – Primary

Children's aeronautical video story Multipurpose Room – Check-in – Departures – Finger – Arrivals – Baggage reclaim – Firefighters – Falconer – Marshallers – Gifts. The approximate timetable for the visit is from 09:30 to 13:30-13:45. The bus hired by the school to take them to the airport cannot leave the airport until the end of the visit as it is this same bus that at a certain point in the itinerary (agreed on the same day with the guide) picks up the group at a security point on the airside airport apron and then takes the schoolchildren to the firefighter facilities.

Thursday Itinerary – Secondary 3rd and 4th year, Baccalaureate and Specialised (VT, academies, etc.)

General airport presentation – Check-in – Departures – CEOPS (Operations Centre, on request*) – Basement (technical specialities only, on request) – ABHS (Automated Baggage Handling System) – CEMANT (Maintenance Centre, on request*) – Visit to airline facilities (you must contact them personally in order to request and arrange it) – Photo in Terminal and gifts. The approximate timetable for the visit is from 09:30 to 13:00.
*If a visit to CEOPS and CEMANT is requested, the maximum number of participants is 20 students and 3 companions).

Thursday Itinerary – Pensioners

General airport presentation – Tour of the Aena S.A. website – Check-in – Departures – Boarding – Arrivals – Baggage reclaim – Photo in Terminal and gifts. The approximate timetable for the visit is from 09:30 to 13:00.
