The airport assigns terminals by companies, so your flight may arrive at one terminal or another regardless of its departure point.
Terminal T1 handles flights operated by members of One World, Star Alliance and Sky Team groups, their associate airlines, and airlines operating intercontinental flights: Adria Airways, Aegean Airlines, Aeroflot, Aerolíneas Argentinas, Air Algerie, Air Baltic, Air Berlin, Air Canada, Air China, Air Europa, Air France, Air Nostrum, Alitalia, American Airlines, Arkia Israel Airlines, Austrian Airlines, Avianca, BA Cityflyer, British Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Croatia Airlines, Czech Airlines, Delta Airlines, EgyptAir, El Al, Emirates, Finnair, Iberia, Israir, KLM, Lufthansa, Niki Lufthart, Qatar Airways, Rossiya Airlines, Royal Air Maroc, Royal Jordanian, SAS Scandinavian Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Swiss International Airlines, TAM Linhas Aéreas, TAP Portugal, Tarom, Tunisair, Turkish Airlines, Ukraine International Airlines, United Airlines and Vueling.
In terminal T2 luggage is delivered to T2 A or T2 B, depending on the origin of the flights for the companies operating in the terminal. Luggage for regular and charter flights arriving from countries outside the Schengen zone, except for easyJet (and its subsidiary easyJet Switzerland), are delivered to terminal T2 A. Luggage for regular and charter flights arriving from countries inside the Schengen zone, and for all easyJet (and easyJet Switzerland) flights arriving from inside and outside the Schengen zone, are delivered to terminal T2 B

When you disembark from the plane, please follow the signs to Passport Control (if necessary) and to the baggage reclaim hall and Customs.
After disembarking, if your flight originated in a non-Schengen area country, you will have to through Passport Control.

After leaving the plane, please follow the signs to the baggage reclaim hall assigned to your flight. Once you are in the relevant hall, if you checked in luggage at your departure airport, look at the screens to see which baggage carousel has been assigned to your flight .
For lost or damaged luggage, please go to your airline or handling agent's desk.
Barcelona-El Prat Airport has a Customs service in the arrivals area of terminals T1, T2 A and T2 B, and in the non-Schengen-Schengen transit area in T1.
If coming from a country outside the European Union, you must decide whether you are carrying goods which need to be declared, and go through airport Customs Some examples of goods which must be declared are: food, high value electronics, cash over €10,000, etc. If in doubt, the best option is to ask at Customs.
If your flight originated in a Schengen area country you will go through the T1 Sky Centre with its large airport shopping area before you exit the airport. You can also find different shops and cafeterias in the arrivals areas of both terminals.

There are cash machines operated by different banks in the arrivals lobby of both terminals. Do you need to change foreign currency to euros? In the arrivals area of terminals T1 and T2 B you will find branches of La Caixa bank where you can change money.
With the help of
