Minorca Airport organises different types of guided tours of the airport for schools, tourism schools or professional schools.
The facilities shown depend on the interest of the group in question. It is therefore possible to visit, amongst others, the passenger terminal building of 25,000 square metres, the cargo terminal building or the power plant and the fire service.
Within the airport complex, it is well worth visiting the Talaiot House, architectonic structures uncovered in an archaeological excavation at the sector of the Biniparratxet Petit site, situated at the south departure point of the runway.
In order to show the interest and dedication of the airport with regards the environment, the guided tours include the landscaped areas with its indigenous plants and catalogued trees and the fauna control service.
