Airport safety

The objective of airport security is to ensure the protection and safety of passengers, crew, the public, ground crews, aircraft, airports and their facilities against illegal activity, perpetrated on the ground or in the air, thus maintaining the regularity and efficiency of national and international air traffic.

To achieve this objective, a series of regulations aimed at implementing the necessary organisation measures, methods, and procedures have been established . These regulations must be complied with by national airports and heliports with commercial flights, their facilities and air navigation branch offices, aircraft companies and operators, etc., with the responsibilities and limitations that correspond to each in their scope of application.

The attached information includes two documents that airport employees must be aware of and apply in their daily work.
