Subsidiaries of Aena
Aena diversifies its activities through capital investments in a variety of companies.
Aena has a majority shareholding in the following companies: Centros Logísticos Aeroportuarios, S.A. (CLASA), Aena Desarrollo Internacional, S.A. and Ingeniería y Economía del Transporte, S.A. (INECO); it has a minority holding in the trading companies Restauración de Aeropuertos Españoles, S.A. (RAESA), and in the Agencia Metropolitana de Desarrollo Urbanístico y de Infraestructuras, S.A. (Agencia Barcelona Regional); finally, it has an indirect shareholding in limited companies in which the above companies have a share. These are described below in the comments made on each of these companies.
- • Centros Logísticos Aeroportuarios, S.A. (CLASA).
- This is a sole proprietorship dedicated to the promotion, construction, management, operations and conservation of the Air Freight Facilities or equivalent facilities existing in the airports.It can also develop whatever trading activities are directly or indirectly related to their business goal, such as studies of technical assistance, the market, economic viability for air freight facility projects, logistical or intermodal projects, or consultancy projects.

- Barcelona Airport Cargo, A.I.E. The business activity of this company consists of the promoting air freight in the Airport of Barcelona. CLASA has a 22% shareholding.
- • Aena Desarrollo Internacional, S.A.
- A sole proprietorship responsible for the internationalisation of the parent company.

- Aeropuertos del Caribe, S.A. (ACSA). Aena Desarrollo Internacional, S.A. has a 40% holding in this company, which is the concessionary body of the Airport of Cartagena de Indias, in Colombia.
- Sociedad Aeroportuaria de la Costa, S.A. (SACSA). Aena Desarrollo Internacional, S.A. has a 38% holding in this company, which is the concessionary body of the Airport of Cartagena de Indias, in Colombia.
- Aerocali S.A. Aena Desarrollo Internacional, S.A. has a 33.34% holding in this company, which is the concessionary body of the Airport of Cali in Colombia.
- Aeropuertos Mexicanos del Pacífico, S.A. of C.V (AMP). Aena Desarrollo Internacional, S.A. has a 33.33% shareholding in the capital of this company in the role of an operating partner. AMP is a strategic partner of the Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico de México, made up of the airports of Aguascalientes, Bajío, Guadalajara, Hermosillo, La Paz, Los Mochis, Manzanillo, Mexicali, Morelia, Puerto Vallarta, San José del Cabo and Tijuana.
- International Airport Jardines del Rey. Aena Desarrollo Internacional, S.A. runs the airport of Cayo Coco in collaboration with the Cuban company of Aeropuertos y Servicios Aeronáuticos ECASA.
- Airport Concessions and Development Limited (ACDL). Aena Desarrollo Internacional, S.A., has a 10% holding in this company which owns 100 % the British airport operator TBI, which has eleven airports in Europe, United States of America and Latin America under a system of ownership, concession or management.
- • Ingeniería y Economía del Transporte, S.A. (INECO).
- This is a state company in which Aena has a 61% holding, Renfe Operadora has a 17% holding and the Administrador de Infraestructuras Ferroviarias (ADIF) has 22%; its mission is to satisfy its shareholders and customers by means of a comprehensive and top quality range of products and services for transport engineering and consultancy. This will provide a continuous response to their changing needs and demands, in a favourable working environment that is constantly evolving.

- Tecnología e Investigación Ferroviaria, S.A. (TIFSA). INECO has a 49% shareholding in this company specialising in rail transport engineering and consultancy.
- • Restauración de Aeropuertos Españoles, S.A. (RAESA).
- Aena has a 49% holding in this company and RECYGSA has a 51% shareholding; this company runs catering services for the airport of Madrid/Barajas.
- • Agencia Metropolitana de Desarrollo Urbanístico y de Infraestructuras, S.A. (Barcelona Regional).
- In this company shareholdings are distributed as follows: Barcelona City Council (17.65%), the Barcelona Regional Council (11.76%), the Entidad Metropolitana de Transportes (11.76%), Aena (11.76%), Empresa Metropolitana de Sanejament (11.76%), Consorcio de la Zona Franca (11.76%), Barcelona port (11.76%), RENFE (5.88%) and MERCABARNA (5.88%). Its business objective is the performance of studies, analysis and research concerning aspects relating to town planning, regional and environmental issues; the planning, promotion, management, development, consulting, performance and operations of all types of construction works, buildings and town planning systems.
