Profile of the management team

José Manuel Vargas Gómez

GENERAL MANAGER - PRESIDENT

He has a degree in Economics and Business Science from the Complutense University of Madrid, and in Law from UNED.

He has worked in the Vocento S.A. group, which he joined in 2000, where he held various management positions. He was a member of the board of directors in the company from 2008 to 2011, and was previously the CFO, legal director and secretary of the Board of Directors of ABC.

Before that, he was CFO and general manager of JOTSA, S.A, part of the Philipp Holzmann Group, from 1995 to 2000, and worked for the auditing firm Price Waterhouse from 1993 to 1995.

Ignacio González Sánchez

DIRECTOR OF AIR NAVIGATION

He has higher engineering qualifications in telecommunications from the University of Malaga, postgraduate qualification in the General Management Programme (PDG) from IESE (2010) and an EMBA from IE (2003).

He was regional manager of Air Navigation for the Central region from 2011 to 2012. He previously worked for Aena International and directed the Galileo Programme.

Pedro de Miguel Orden

MANAGER OF THE CHAIRMAN'S OFFICE

He has higher aeronautical engineering qualifications (Aircraft, Missiles and Engines) from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, postgraduate qualification from the Management Development Programme (PDD) of IESE (2004), a Master's in Airport Systems from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, and a Master's in Project and Concession Management and Financing "Project Management" from the Fundación Antonio Camuñas, Centro Superior de Arquitectura.

He was head of the Department of Promotion and Support for Excellence (CPAE) from 2001 to 2004, and head of the Spanish Airports Directors' Office from 2004 to 2012.

Antonio San José Pérez

DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS AND INSTITUTIONAL RELATIONS

He has a degree in Information Sciences (Journalism) from the Complutense University of Madrid.

He was Director of Communications in the State lottery company, Sociedad Estatal Loterías y Apuestas del Estado, S.A. (SELAE) and communications consultant at FAD (Fundación de Ayuda contra la Drogadicción) in 2011. He was previously the Director of News Services at Radio Nacional de España, Canal+ and CNN+. He was also assistant director of News at Antena 3 Televisión.

Alfonso de Alfonso Bozzo

DIRECTOR OF INTERNAL AUDITS

He has a degree in Law from the University of Santiago de Compostela and a doctorate in Law from the Autonomous University of Barcelona.

In Aena, has been Director of the Barcelona Airport from 1990 to 1997, Chief of the Human Resources Development Division in the Organisation and Human Resources Department from 2002 to 2005, head of the Special Actions Division in the Commercial Spaces and Services Department from 2005 to 2009, and director of Internal Audits and Control from 2009.

Beatriz Puente Ferreras

FINANCIAL DIRECTOR

She graduated in Business Sciences from CUNEF, specialising in Auditing. She studied for an MBA at the Kellogg Graduate School of Management on a Fulbright scholarship.

She began her professional career as an auditor at Ernst&Young, and subsequently became the Vice President of the European division of Citigroup Investment Bank. Before joining Aena she was the General Financial Manager of Vocento and a member of the Board of this media group.

Begoña Gosálvez Mayordomo

DIRECTOR OF ORGANISATION AND HUMAN RESOURCES

She has a degree in Law from the Complutense University of Madrid and postgraduate qualification in the Management Development Programme (PDD) from IESE (2005).

She was assistant director of Organisation and Human Resources at Aena from 2004 to 2005, and director of Organisation and Human Resources from 2005.

Jesús Fernández Rodríguez

DIRECTOR OF LEGAL COUNSEL AND ASSET MANAGEMENT

He has a degree in Law from the Complutense University of Madrid.

He was Director of Legal Counsel at Aena from 1995 to 2005, director of the General Technical Office from 2005 to 2011, and director of Legal Counsel and Asset Management for Aena Aeropuertos and general technical secretary for Aena from 2011 to the present.
